Sub: Announcement regarding all helpline/complaint lodging system.
Hon’ble MR has inter-alia desired that in-train announcement, being made in Sharabdi, Rajdhani and
Duronto Trains, must include information regarding helpline and complaints lodging system including matter concerning complaint regarding passenger amenities and catering
2. A single three digit All India Helpline number ‘138’ has been provided for passengers, as a public interface for queries/complaints related to Medical Emergency, Cleanliness, Food & Catering, Coach Maintenance and Linen etc. This helpline number has been made functional, round the clock since 26.02.2015.
3. It is desired that for the information of passengers, announcement of helpline number 138 as stated
above may also be made along with other announcement in the trains having public announcement system on regular basis.
Please acknowledge receipt and send compliance report by 20.4.2015 positively.
